The
globalization and international integration of organizations is largely taken
for granted today. As a result, employees increasingly have to interact,
manage, and work together with employees from other countries, whose values and
beliefs are different from their own. Most of our understanding of groups and
teams functioning, however, is based on research and theories grounded in
