Some global business-related research in the specialist field of international finance is also undertaken in the Department of Finance and Economics. Professor CF Lee has also worked on IJVs, as well as on finance in East Asia and China; according to a recent paper in the Journal of Applied Corporate Finance that ranks the most prolific authors in the top 7 finance journals and the top 72 in the period from 1953-2002, CF Lee ranks at 107 on the first measure, and in 1^st place on the second criterion. Another faculty member in the Finance and Economics Department, Professor Yangru Wu has published on international trade, international financial markets, and emerging markets.
